More outdoor seating / tables for PD
It would be extremely beneficial to have more outdoor tables and seating on the back patios behind the 8400 and 8380 buildings.
Since the majority of EGPD employees have returned to working in the office full time outdoor tables can provide socially distant seating for lunchtime / breaks.
Benefits:
Outdoor tables will provide more areas for employees to use for lunch breaks and allow for social distancing. While there is an initial cost in purchasing new tables / seating, the tables can be used long after COVID restrictions have been lifted.
Roll Out:
1. Purchase outdoor tables / seating (similar to what currently exists?)
2. Install tables / seating.
3. Let employees know enhanced outdoor dining options exist.

This idea was reviewed with PD management, Facilities, and City Management. With upcoming work on PD facility remodels and integration of the Studio Ct building, it was decided to hold off on new tables for now. Additionally, the break rooms are being reopened as part of the Reintegration efforts. Remodeling of the 8380 Breakrooms is also being planned.
